Please be aware that ANTI-HOMESCHOOL groups also exist. These organizations claim to be homeschool advocacy groups but actually seek to severely restrict homeschool freedom by promoting governmental "oversight" and insinuate that "abuse" runs rampant in home-educating families. We will not link to these sites and we urge caution in looking them up to avoid giving them site traffic or allowing their use of cookies to track you. However, these organizations seek media attention and are oft-quoted in anti-homeschool articles and stories, so it's important to be aware of their existence:
